Rachel Greenwood - Violin

Rachel studied in Liverpool where she experienced a wide range of performing opportunities from playing on period instruments to recording sessions for a number of bands. She has been teaching violin (and occasionally 'cello!) since finishing her studies, her career taking her to Guernsey and Northamptonshire before landing in Dorset.

Rachel now plays in a few local ensembles, is leader of the Dorset Sinfonia and teaches violin as well as classroom music at Perrott Hill School. She also conducts Stringalings for DASP.

Her newest venture has been to set up and run 'DO RE MI time', an early years and pre school music class based in Dorchester.
