Heather Reed - Piano

Heather studied Composition and Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and did her P.G.C.E. training at Exeter University (St. Luke’s).
As well as teaching the piano within DASP Music and privately from home and accompanying for music exams , she is the  Honorary Local Representative for ABRSM exams in Dorchester.

Heather is Director of Music at the United Church in Dorchester and Accompanist for Dorchester Choral Society.
She is also the Musical Director of the award winning ‘WOW Youth Music Theatre’ in Weymouth.

Heather also plays the organ, violin ,harp and euphonium as well as playing the flute as part of ‘Flutecakes’! When not being musical, Heather enjoys sewing, knitting, swimming and gardening, assisted by her two basset hounds, two cats and Charlie the tortoise!
