Wendy Pinkney - Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone

Wendy has lived in Poole all of her life.  She studied Music Theory, Performance, Composition, Technology, Sound Recording, Theory, and Aural Perception and after achieving her Diploma she went on teach the flute, clarinet and saxophone to children of primary school age up to her eldest private student in their 60’s.  Wendy has taught in many schools across Dorset to ABRSM Grade 8.  She worked for the Dorset Music Service for approximately 10 years and now teaches independently at St Marys Middle School Puddletown, Bournemouth School for Girls and Epiphany Primary School in Bournemouth.  She has played in Soul and 70’s bands, Swing bands, saxophone quartets, ensembles and recording studio session work.  Current hobbies include competitive sailing at Poole Yacht Club, swimming and cycling.
